This is a very attractive small tree especially when it is in full flush as the tree is cover with limp pink new growth.  It has a dense bushy habit and is excellent for coastal areas as it is tollerant of salt winds.  It is native to littoral and seasonally dry rainforests from the mid north coast of NSW through to north Queensland.
