The variety Biloxi was developed as a pollinator for Misty in Mississippi, for early season areas. One of the parents of this variety is Sharpeblue. In early trial plantings on the North Coast, it has fruited well with large medium flavoured berries early, but the fruit size drops off towards the end of the season. The fruit is light blue, with a mottled bloom appearance. It is of average flavour, with a medium scar and firm fruit. So far, in trial plantings, Biloxi has a habit of producing late spring flowering and a second harvest, during January and February.

Very similar to the Glengarry, this local selection originates from just outside Lismore. A hardy tree, that comes into fruiting early and produces good crops of good quality, medium sized apricots. Approx. chill hours 500, slightly higher than Glengarry, fruiting in November.

Sweet variety with pinkish skin and high resistance to downy mildew. Very hardy and well suited to coastal conditions. Good back yard variety with no spraying needed, quality average.

A late selection that produces a pear shaped green skinned fruit with a Hass like textured skin. The fruit is of excellent quality with a rich creamy texture. Hardy vigorous variety that sets well by itself. This is a local selection with Hass and Sharwill as parents.
