The tropical equivalent of the cherry. The purplish-black fruit 2cm diameter are produced in clusters. Flesh white, melting and tasty. Mostly used for fresh eating, but also highly prized for jams, jellies and pies.

Most common variety grown due to its excellent quality fruit. This selection is seed grown from selected quality fruit. Bowens are naturally polyembryonic hence are virtually true to type from seed. Cropping begins in 3-4years, with identical fruit quality to grafted trees.
Popularity: 3 Blueberry - Biloxi
A great choice for hotter climates with very little chill hours. It is often the first variety to hit the markets ripening a few weeks before other early blueberry varieties. The fruit is firm and the size is medium. Even though it fruits early it can often produce a second harvest later in the season although it's first time to fruit yields the best harvest. Best to mix with other varieties so that when this one is not fruiting another variety is.

This native miniature palm is found as an uderstorey throughout the subtropical rainforests of Australia. Growth is very slow in it's initial stages but very worthwhile to nuture as it is very attractive as an indoor plant. Orange fruits are edible.
