Sometimes known as Caimito is native to the West Indies where it is a very popular fruit. Fruit can be purple or green skinned. When cut in half there is an attractive star pattern. The flesh is sweet and tastes very smooth and aromatic. A very attractive tropical tree, leaves green above and gold underneath. Not suitable for temperate climates.

The fruit is heart-shaped with a rough green skin and soft fleshy spines. The fresh meaty flesh is juicy and slightly acid producing a rich creamy thirst quenching juice. Superb when fruit is pureed with 1/3 of vanilla icecream. Also known as Graviola or Guanaban. Not suitable for temperate climates.

The small to medium fruit is pale lemon-yellow with smooth thin skin. The flesh is a translucent pale green, tender and juicy with a true acid lime flavour. It is best to pick the fruit green as it can suffer from rot if left to ripen on the tree.
