Raspberry - Atherton

$21.90 ($14.90-$23.90 choose a size)

Native to the highlands of far North Queensland, this raspberry is a sweet red-orange berry that grows on an upright suckering, sprawling ground cover with cane-like stems. It is delicious eaten fresh. The taste is milder than the European raspberry. The plant is very responsive to warmer growing conditions and can produce up to 3 kg per plant. It does need some management so it won't take over the garden, grow it where the suckers can be mowed over, or alternatively grow it in a large pot.Weed Warning: Birds could transfer seed in Coastal Subtropical regions. Keep netted. Should not be an issue in colder and drier climates.

A cousin of the mangosteen, Achachas are tangy and refreshing with a delicate subtle sweetness, a fine balance between sweetness and acidity, producing an unusual taste sensation. Originating from the Bolivian part of the Amazon basin in South America, the Bolivian name of the fruit is Achachairu and translated means honey kiss

Carambola Starfruit - Kary

$59.00 ($59.00-$79.00 choose a size)

Excellent flavour, bright skin and juicy flesh with few seeds, bearing a summer and winter crop. It exhibits more cold tolerance than other varieties. Carambolas are also called Star Fruit Carambola trees have an attractive weeping habit, producing a profusion of pink flowers. The foliage is delicate on young trees, and our potted plants are known for their older leaves to turn yellow and drop during transport to conserve energy. This is not a problem long term. With care and acclimatisation they will bounce back

Loquat - Nagasakiwase

$49.00 ($49.00-$99.00 choose a size)

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.

Blue Quandong

One of my top picks for bird attracting trees (they love the flowers). Branches can break once they get heavy with foliage at the ends so don't plant near structures. Our tree is 17yrs old and ~20 m high. One of my favourite trees in the yard

Blue Quandong

Ours outgrew our garden in 6 years. Timber and branches very splitty in even mild breezes. Either be prepared to coppice it HARD, or plant it well away from anything you don't want it to drop branches on. Awesome pioneer, but not really for suburban yard

This is a tough little tree, surviving with very poor soil, windy conditions and little water. I love the shape of this grand tree when mature.
