Sunburst trees are moderately vigorous, thornless, upright and spreading. Cold hardy. Produce high quality, attractive fruit of the mandarin or tangerine type with good flavour. Reddish-orange rind at maturity. Segments easily separated. Juicy fruit with dark orange flesh colour.
Mandarin - Honey Murcott
Small to medium size flat fruit with yellow-orange skin. The fruit is smooth and easy to peel. Has some seeds. Its rich red flesh is honey sweet and juicy, with a lovely fragrance. Frost sensitive. H Aug - Sept
Mandarin - Okitsu wase (Satsuma)
Seedless, good flavour, low acid and high TSS. Satsumas are cold hardy and form a compact growing tree. They are the earliest mandarins in the marketplace. .

Bright reddish-orange peel, rich flavor, tender and juicy. Some seeds, heavy bearer. Where protected from cold, fruit flavor is unsurpassed.

Dwarf Mandarin - Daisy
Recently introduced variety from Californian that is showing promise over a large range of climatic regions. Large fruit size, well coloured fruit and relatively seedless. Flying Dragon modifies the top growth making this a dwarf plant that is ideal to use planted out or as a pot specimen. Trees will grow to about half the normal citrus size. Flying Dragon rootstock also adds cold hardiness and grows well in heavier soils, like Trifoliatia rootstock.

Late maturing Californian variety, seedless good flavour. Upright growth and vigorous.
