Velvet Apple Tree
The Velvet Apple Tree is about the same size as an apple They are bright red in colour and where they are native such as the Phillipines they are treasured by their people. Velvet Apples grow well in tropical to subtropical environments throughout Australia.
Also known as Mabola, is closely related to the persimmon. About the size of an apple, with mildly sweet flavored, somewhat mealy, flesh. The red coloured fruits are highly esteemed in some areas, but barely known in most parts of the world. Native to the Phillipines
