I have rose apple, surinam cherry, sandpaper fig, dwarf fig, fig, natal plum, pomegranate, compact irish strawberry, all with foliage up to 3m in front of a 2m timber fence. The fence is painted black. There are a few flowers for bees and a thicket of yellow florist chrysanthemums, which excludes weeds.
