Advanced Trees - How long until we could harvest?

Hi,

I understand that the lifecycle of avocado trees means that you would potentially have to wait years until it would actually bear fruit.
I am looking for one that could be grown in a (very large) pot (for a balcony, and also to make sure it is well drained) and am wondering if anyone would recommend one that I might be with the shortest waiting time?
Would be happy to pay extra for an advanced one.
NB - It is a present for my grandmother who had to move out of her house with a large garden but misses her old avocado tree (I think it was a Wurtz).
Thanks!

Hi A. I had good success with a grafted Lamb Hass. 4 beautiful fruit about 18 months after planting. 2 years now it is about 1.8m with maybe 40 fruit on. Mmm supposed to be dwarf too.
