Agriculture fair in Bangkok

    1 responses

Bangkok starts with ...
Right now untill next weekends sunday there's a huge fruittree fair going on in Bangkok. Every day, next sunday is the last day.

If you happen to be in Thailand it's sure worth a visit. Kasetsart University campus 50 Phahonyothin Road, Lat Yao Subdistrict, Jatujak District Bangkok.
Tell the taxi:" kasetsart university Bangkhen" they all know it.

Not far from Mo-Chit skytrain.

They have all fruittree's available in Thailand, all food available in Thailand, loads of agriculture products, a petmarket, orchids/flowers, bulbs, workshops (in Thai of course) vegetable market and much more.

They even have 1000 grafted fingerlimetree's.

You can easy spend a whole day on this fair and there's no entrance fee. You won't believe what you see there, it's paradise for fruitgrowers but not much fruit for sale, more tree's and plants.

Bangkok says...
There's so much to see, also many "new" fruits in large quantity's.

Loads of datepalms, figtree's, fingerlimes, kepel, redskin pomelo and many other citrus, new mango's, red skinned guava's, double banana's, plums, pluots, all the american dragonfruitvariety's, imported durianvariety's, many gooseberries, loads of different mulberries, raspberries, blueberries, waxapples many new variety's, and much more of the "old" fruit.

If new fruit keeps coming to Thailand in this speed then in a few years time everything will be growing here from over the whole world i guess.

But the fruit is not for sale on the markets unfortunately, i wonder where it all goes to. Guess to the highest bidder wherever he might be.
