my ballerina apple tree has been planted in a strawberry patch. while thinning the strawberrie we found these roots should we leave them or add extra soil??

Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery says...
Hi Susan, Apples are one tree that you can plant deep and they will form roots up their trunk. Bury them in the soil, or mulch around them, this is nothing to be concerned about.
