Lee starts with ...
I have a customer wanting to know the best apples to grow in Lane Cove. Does anyone have any info on the newly released Pinkabelle and what it will be like in Sydney.

The tropical apples would suit the temperatures in inner Sydney, the pinkabelle may require too much chill and would be better suited to the cooler western suburbs, it would be borderline in Lane Cove. All the tropical apples would be suitable, the Anna, tropic sweet and the golden dorset, remember that apples do require cross pollination so you will need two different varieties in order for the trees to set fruit.
