We've been given a Divinity Apricot tree in a large painted terracotta pot. How hard should I prune it & will it do ok in a pot?

Not an expert in peaches or stone fruit, but if the tree is established already, pruning is really only for shape and size.

Trees in pots are harder to maintain, you will need to pay attention to moisture levels as the soil can dry out quickly.
