April in Brisbane

    5 responses

Diana starts with ...
A strange mixture of summer (dragonfruit, rome beauty and granny smith apples, mouse melon, wing beans, red lima beans, ice cream bean, chilli, Hawaiian guava, yellow and red panama passionfruit, panama berry, eggplant) and winter (thornless blackberries, yellow tamarillo, lisbon lemons, tahitian and west indian limes, kembangen starfruit, yellow cherry guava) fruit and pods in the garden in April. I am going to make some fruit salad with some of it (not chillis, eggplant and beans!)

They look like Rollinia, a lemon meringue flavoured custard apple.

Lucky you, Diana and Mike (of course). I aim to have more varieties but the citrus, guavas and figs do so well here that I think they will always dominate.
