Help !! I planted grafted Hass tree in 2006 and it has grown well , about 4to 5 mts... last year it dropped all its fruit when small but some survived and I have just picked and eaten them. Tasted Great BUT they did not turn dark skinned as they ripened as my garden books say that they should. . My guess is that my Tree is not a Hass Variety and was wrongly Tagged.

It is July 3rd 2014 in Newcastle NSW and the tree now has masses of flowers.... Would luv to know what variety this may be ... Large green fruit with an elongated neck , smooth skin, great creamy taste !!!

A photo tells a thousand words :)
Possibly Bacon or Fuerte - pic of tree could help and leaves as well as fruit both whole and cut showing seed ....... use low resolution for this forum like 2 to 4 megapixels
