The best Avacado for Victoria seems to be Bacon. Should be ok in tub for a while, just make sure you use top quality potting mix, feed and water regularly.

It is our most popular variety not in stock at the moment. I think because of it's cold hardy characteristics and the price of avocados in the shops lately many southerners are very keen to get it.
We are hoping to have stock shortly.
