Bananas

I have a couple of Cavendish bananas trees that bear fruit regularly. One of the hands has black spots on the green fruit. There is also another bunch close by which shows no spots at all. Is this a fungus ??? if so what can I do to get rid of it. I live on the Gold Coast and have been watering both trees regularly.

They're a pain in the ass to get rid of from bananas because they hide in the folds of the stem and are difficult to eradicate entirely. You need to drench them in confidor unfortunately.
