petemoss starts with ... We need to place anti bird netting on our fruit trees. Would prefer black as white is not good on the eyes. Any ideas as to suppliers, and how much netting will we need for 4 apple trees. They are about 8 foot high and 5 foot wide. Have seen some posts about nets catching on leaves and fruit, so possibly the smaller the mesh, the better. | About the Author petemoss Gippsland, VIC 16th December 2014 3:19pm #UserID: 2050 Posts: 8 View All petemoss's Edible Fruit Trees |

srt says... You can do the calculation 2.3 metres high times 2 equals roughly 5 metres and add 2 metres for growth ; that can be your width ie 7 metres . Then there will be a minimum buy ,say , 50 metres. You can sometimes score with vinenets in WA for second hand stuff. Even so you can be up for a bit of money. | About the Author srt giraween 16th December 2014 3:56pm #UserID: 10109 Posts: 83 View All srt's Edible Fruit Trees |
