Given I live in a temperate climate, is there any way I can influence the colour of the fruit on my blood orange. The tree is 10-15 years old, and over the last few years, has been gradually losing its crimson colour. I know that cold nights are important, but this is outside my control!

Dibs we've have some cold nights in Sydney and my blood oranges are redder than ever - the juice runs red. I don't know if you can make them go red by other means...

Pretty sure all citrus need cold to change colour. In the tropics oranges stay forever green. No such thing as a yellow lemon either.

Yes I'm very happy with the colour, Brain. The oranges were very sweet too but the skin burnt my lips just like the lemonade did. ouch
