John I. says... Hi Juanita, I planted the ladyfinger early December last year. I did an experiment with my bananas, during winter to see how frost would effect them. I didn't protect my ladyfinger at all and I built a box around my Red Dacca and completely covered it with frost cloth. The frost cloth did absolutely nothing (you can see from the picture under my profile that all the leaves died from the frost). Eddie says... Hi John i built a shelter for mine as well i used shade cloth and on the inside i lined it with bubble wrap and put a roof on it the laserlite see through stuff and worked a treat i restricted any air coming in and when it was a good temp opened it up from the side.
