Hi There,
I was wondering if you stocked carob trees and if so do they require a male and female tree to produce carob pods?
How can you tell the difference between the two?
thanks,
tess

As a general answer, most carob trees either produce male or female flowers, male flowers are highly pungent, female trees produce pods. Some that are both M and F types exist(bisexual). The quality of pods from different trees can be extreme, from thin and tannic to fat and edible off the tree. Best to get a good variety.
