I harvested some cinnamon quills from my cinnamon tree but they have no aroma. Can anyone tell me why. I bought the tree at Daleys so must be the right one.

It is the inner layers of bark that have the scent .. outer layers of bark are usually discarded . Some think the tree must be coppiced first before harvesting . I think it is a bit tropical , how long have you been growing it in Vic ?
