Elizabeth33 starts with ... Hi, I live in the Kyogle district, and my Mandarine tree is really struggling. Its gone from producing an abundance of beautiful big fruit, to dropping the fruit while they are still small. Part of the tree has lost it's leaves and the fruit has small brown markings. Its next to an orange tree, and this tree is starting to get the same markings on the fruit. Any suggestions on saving and improving the wellbeing of both trees would be greatly appreciated. thank you | About the Author Elizabeth33 Boorabee Park 2nd April 2014 1:57pm #UserID: 9742 Posts: 1 View All Elizabeth33's Edible Fruit Trees |

Mike Tr says... My trees do this at times when fungal problems are developing on that limb with not usually with spotted fruit.Pink's disease is one that acts like this at the start and some lesion causing fungal problems even before bark roughening, lesions or discoloration is visible.Cut and seal affected areas and treat tree with a fungicide.Lots of rain after a long dry period causes most fungal problems for me. | About the Author Mike Tr Cairns 2nd April 2014 3:44pm #UserID: 8322 Posts: 614 View All Mike Tr's Edible Fruit Trees |
