Coastal Peach Fruit

We have a coastal fruit tree, around 4 years old. The tree is now around 10ft high but is only growing very small hard round green fruit that do not ripen. Could we ask for any advice please?

Are you sure it's not growing from below the graft?

If there is no graft, perhaps it a tree grown from seed. The fruit is no good. You can still use a well established tree like this as it will have nice roots developed. Simply lop off most of the growth (but leave a small nurse branch) and stick scions of desireable cultivars into the cambium of the main trunk. Do this in late winter.
