Slicko starts with ... We all seem to have problems when it comes to getting a decent harvest from our trees. Last year I built a temporary exclusion net over my Peachtree. It was pretty rudimentary and utilised tomato stakes, some poly pipe, mosquito net and zip ties. The good thing was it worked like a charm and I lost nothing to wildlife or the dreaded fruit fly. This year I decided to construct something that would be a bit more long-lasting and that could be demolished and stored for the following year. The photos below show what I've built. I have used both steel and aluminium tubing, galvanised steel rod and 1 inch poly tube Pic 1 shows the peach under the canopy, 2 shows the fabric 3 shows the canopy with the sides up for pollination 4 shows the sides down
