Does anybody know what is causing and how to cure my Davidson's plum trees leaves having random pieces taken out with red coloration at the edges of the missing parts of the leaves? Is this rust?

Davidson plum lease naturally have red bits on them during growth period, I wouldn't worry about a few munched leaves unless the tree is looking sick.
