drooping avocado

Hi
When I received my Avocado Hass tree from Daley's it was drooping. I followed the instructions and soaked it in its pot. But now, a few days later, it is still drooping. Will I soak it some more? I have watered it as it has been very hot. It is in being stored in the shade until a cooler time to plant out.

Yes it's OK to keep the water up to it, the potting mix Daley's use is very porous and will run through the pot. Add some seasol for a pep up. Avocado's don't like sitting in stagnant water.
Another tip is to spray the leaves with phosacid on a six week rotation to help manage phytophthora root rot. Yates sells phosacid as Antirot.
