Brendan says... Hi Cain, I've heard of people up Nth Qld planting two avocado trees (type A & Type B), in the one hole about 1 metre apart, and had great success, but two in a pot would be problem I'd say. Wurtz, type A is a dwarf, but for a B type pollinator, I'm not sure. Maybe a Shepard, Sharwill or Edranol might work if you kept it pruned. You would need a very large pot. | About the Author Brendan Mackay, Q 28th January 2012 10:17am #UserID: 1947 Posts: |

amanda says... Not sure if big enough Cain- maybe someone else here? ...but how are u going to re-pot it when u need to change the soil over? (which u will need to do BTW) Personally - I always recommend tree sacks that go into a "decorative" container. U just cut the tree sack open with a stanley knife and lower into the new sack after a "clean up" - so much less root stress. | About the Author amanda Geraldton, 400km North of Perth 30th January 2012 1:17am #UserID: 2309 Posts: View All amanda's Edible Fruit Trees |
