The poster formerly known as... says... There are lots of stone fruit that fruit prolifically in Brisbane. But I found the bats and oriental fruit moth were just too much trouble in the end. I'm trying SpiceZee now as the purple leaves seem to trick the OFM and the few fruit I've had so far were exceptional. Plums seem much hardier to pests and diseases, but crop less. White Satin nectarine was probably the best, but the bats loved them so much they'd suck the pulp through mesh bags, leaving only skin and seed behind. Tropic Sun peach was good too. | About the Author Theposterformerlyknownas Keperra 31st July 2014 10:08am #UserID: 3270 Posts: 1552 View All Theposterformerlyknownas's Edible Fruit Trees |
