Billyo starts with ... I don't really know how to train this tree despite looking at a lot of online advice, so thought I would post puctures to see if anyone could assist. I've set up 4 cables for the tiers that are already there but I am missing a left hand branch on the 3rd tier (came like that), is it possible to create a tier on that side still. On the bottom tier, bundles of brunch have been tied together rather than there being a single branch, is this ok? Finally, there are 4 small branches at the top of the tree, should I tie two down in each side or just one each side and prune the other two? All help gratefully received.

allybanana says... A great start but stick to one main branch along each wire both sides of the tree and clip off the rest. On the bottom wire were there are multiple branches bound togeather pick the best and remove the rest and keep one main branch per wire both sides of the tree and keep the short branches of the main branches for fruit. | About the Author allybanana EDEN, NSW 3rd May 2015 9:02pm #UserID: 4544 Posts: 372 View All allybanana's Edible Fruit Trees |
