We have just purchased a property that has an small selection of fruit trees on it.

There are the following;

Bush lime
Orange
Mandarin
Plum
Peach
Pear
Apple
Lemon
Pecan nut tree

All have produced fruit but I know nothing about how to care for them.

Could you please advise when I should prune them and if I should spray them and with what.

Many thanks
Alicia

There is a book called "growing fruit in australia" by baxter and tankard. It is the bible for fruit.

Your local library will have a copy, or can order it in from another library.
