One of the pesticides being banned is imidacloprid (better known as Confidor).
Interestingly Germany voted in favour, even though a German company, Bayer is the producer and owns the patent.

Its a good product but I dont think it should be banned altogether, Regulated to approved users that can tell what a flower looks like and when said flowers will be in bloom maybe.
