Brendan starts with ... Just wondering if anyone has used these Ezflo fertilizing systems? http://www.ezflofertilising.com.au/hose-tap-systems/ | About the Author Brendan Mackay, Q 8th February 2012 11:08am #UserID: 1947 Posts: |
Speedy says... No,haven't used one, but I'm thinking about getting one. I was just looking at their website today after I saw the advert in ABC OG mag. They're based in Townesville. Looks good. most liquid fert devices work on a venturi type setup where they depend on atmospheric pressure to push the fert mix into the irrigation water. That means they wont work if there is backpressure from the delivery (downstream) side of the device. this will handle those types of situations eg. for fertigating through dripperlines where the whole system is pressurised, or through any type of sprinkler system I've looked at fertiliser dosing devices like this years ago but where much too expensive ($100's of $). these look very affordable around the $100 mark for a 5 or 10 litre hose connected system with variable dosing settings. big enough and affordable enough for most home gardeners I guess. interesting... | About the Author Speedy Nthn Vic. 8th February 2012 11:22pm #UserID: 2305 Posts: View All Speedy's Edible Fruit Trees![]() |
