Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery says... Yes they would suit your climate and also suit pots. If you can always a good idea to get 2 different varieties and grafted varieties are always going to be a much better option especially in pots. But you could get 1 grafted variety like the Feijoa Unique http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/feijoa-unique-tree.htm and one seedling feijoa http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/feijoa-tree.htm they crop much better when 2 different varieties are flowering at the same time for cross pollination otherwise they still may set fruit however the crop would not be as big.
