I just bought a feijoa and yellow cherry guava today and was just wondering about the feijoa is it self fertile or self pollinating and will it still get a decent crop if i dont pollinate.

Hi Nat, the Unique feijoa is self fertilising - I had some fruit last season but I think other cultivars require cross pollination with another tree. The Yellow Cherry Guava is self fertilising and mine produces lots of fruit every year.

Nat I'm pretty sure the answer is 'no' if you mean yellow cherry guava with feijoa.
