I have 10 finger lime trees imported from Australia, but I really don’t know the climate in Viet Nam ( about 30-38 degree Celsius ) that can make finger lime trees bearing fruit or not If you have any advises , such as how to fertilize them per year or any techniques.. Please help me! Thanks all

GG says... Hi, You should be fine. They are hardy and adaptable. Grow them like any other citrus. Use a fertiliser high in phosphorous to help prevent rot in the humid/wet conditions. They do well in pots but don't over water and if the pots get too hot move them into partial shade. You should have fruit soon. | About the Author GG Lindfield 30th May 2016 9:00am #UserID: 10423 Posts: 38 View All GG's Edible Fruit Trees |

jakfruit etiquette says... The Finger Limes naturally grow from the coast and up into the mountains, from south of Brisbane into the north of NSW (subtropical to cool mountain subtropical) similar to 30-38' but cooler in winter. They can also be grown in the hotter 40 degree, inland areas of Australia, with irrigation and shelter. I think your climate will be ok, Fingerlimes are very similar to other Citrus, but if they dry out they will drop leaves more than Citrus. Still please dont overwater them. Also they cant take as strong fertilizer as Citrus. Better to fertilize less, but more often. Good Luck and let us know how you go. | About the Author jakfruit etiquette vic 30th May 2016 10:53am #UserID: 5133 Posts: 915 View All jakfruit etiquette's Edible Fruit Trees |
