Finger Lime Repotting

Marlene starts with ... I purchased a finger lime from the Nursery whilst travelling last year, it travelled well in the loo of our caravan and I have kept it in its pot since last June/July, now that the cold weather is past I would like to repot it for a year or so, but at the moment it is covered in little purple buds, when should I repot and what sort of compost should I use also what fertilizer?
