can anyone help me in grafting ( multi) some fruit trees, I tied many times but all in vane . i need to multi graft some of my fruit trees ( pear, plum, citrus, nectarine, peach).
I am short on space and some of my trees are in pot, and its very hard to maintain them. Plus i bought s High chill variety ( pear) which is not suited for my area, so i need to graft low chill variety on existing 3 yrs old pear.
I live in Quakers Hill NSW.
Thanks
sandy

You can read up on grafting online or in a book. Practice first on making the matching cuts on a soft wood stem of willow or similar, Then Tie it all up with plumbers ptfe thread seal tape from a hardware store. It will be most helpful to learn hands on from someone rather than just reading about it.

For your pear tree, Google Cleft graft and bark or rind graft, that's what I use, there are others, do it when dormant in late winter, early spring.
