denise1 starts with ... I got a new large bearing loquat tree and is giving its first crop for me. The fruit are 50 x 80mm long. The skins are thicker than normal and peel easy to reveal the white flesh that reminds me strongly of the taste of mangosteen. It seems to ripen inside before a full skin colour.
