Dave Cowey starts with ... Hi Daleys Forum I need a bit advice on growing Gooseberry Captivators I live in Kalbarri Western Australia. I know they like cold winters and with me living in Kalbarri our winters might not get down low enough for them. I was wondering if I could help them out in some way for our climate over here. And last of all what type of soil do they like growing in. Thankyou Dave Cowey

Julie 1 says... What are/is gooseberry captivators? Is that a variety? I live in the hills about 30-35 ks from Perth, which gets pretty damn cold at night in winter. Still not cold enough for gooseberries though. I don't fancy your chances in Kalbarri. Edit: OK, just Googled it. Not available in Tas or WA. http://www.lakenurseries.com.au/product/2152-gooseberry-captivator | About the Author Julie Roleystone WA 24th October 2014 3:32pm #UserID: 154 Posts: 1842 View All Julie's Edible Fruit Trees |
