Diana says... Hi apple tree, You need another apple that flowers at the same time as granny smith. Anna will not do it (too early) eg find varieties at http://www.woodbridgefruittrees.com.au/wft/apples/80-granny-smith.html | About the Author Diana Brisbane 12th March 2015 8:51pm #UserID: 3004 Posts: 284 View All Diana's Edible Fruit Trees |

Chris says... Granny smith is at least partially self fertile if not self fertile. I know of a tree cropping heavily on its own in suburbia, where there are no other apple trees in the street, nor in adjacent houses behind. Not to say that bees don't travel. Orangepippin lists it as self fertile. http://www.orangepippin.com/apples/granny-smith | About the Author Chris Sydney 13th March 2015 11:41pm #UserID: 2281 Posts: 263 View All Chris 's Edible Fruit Trees |
