Granny Smith

Apple Tree starts with ...
Is dwarf Granny Smith self fertile? Or does it need to cross pollinate? If so, can Tropical Anna cross pollinate it? Conversely, will it cross pollinate Tropical Anna or do I have to get another apple variety to cross pollinate Tropical Anna?

Hi apple tree,

You need another apple that flowers at the same time as granny smith. Anna will not do it (too early) eg find varieties at http://www.woodbridgefruittrees.com.au/wft/apples/80-granny-smith.html

Granny smith is at least partially self fertile if not self fertile.
I know of a tree cropping heavily on its own in suburbia, where there are no other apple trees in the street, nor in adjacent houses behind.
Not to say that bees don't travel.
Orangepippin lists it as self fertile.
