Hello All!

The exciting warmerish season is here & some of my unknown forgotten seeds are sprouting, in 1 pot at work I have planted so many different types of seeds in winter I have forgotten what's in there! 1 type of plant has sprouted, it looks familiar but I cannot work out what it is, would any of you know ?

Any & all info would be much appreciated.

Is it just a weed ?

Thank you

(Is it a Jabuticaba ?? I wish that would be awesome to have my very own grown jabtuicaba seedling but definitely is not as I don't have any Jab seeds yet :(

Maybe from my first year flowering Large leaf Jab this season, I Hope!)

Not a jaboticaba seedling of any type. The name is derived from Myrciaria jaboticaba which is a common species and has varieties like sabara. You use the Spanish common name. The large leaf jaboticaba used to be called M.spirito sentensis but it is now known that it was a mistaken identification.

I don't think there's enough information for ID. It looks like a young eucalypt or possibly a parahebe.
Are the stems woody or succulent? Are the leaves aromatic?

(Mike Tr- Myrciaria cauliflora - I love identifying jaboticabas - I love saying- "e;it's a Myrciaria"e;)
