A while after I bought my King Thai mango tree I noticed two other seedlings growing in the pot and transferred them into another pot. Any idea what these are and besides if they are worth keeping?

This plant can be invasive. It should be destroyed while there is only one of them. I remember in primary school being drilled on poisonous plants and this was one of them. They come in bronze and silver.

Peter you have to give them competition. We used to take them out during Bushcare; they usually come up when there's disturbance to the land (clearing) so you have to deprive them of opportunity. If you have bare ground they're sure to regenerate.

Thanks everyone. Too bad it wasn't a fruit tree :( I'll dispose of it now before it gets to be a problem.
