Hills fig tree

    1 responses

Hills fig starts with ...
Hi

I would like to buy a Hills fig tree but do not want the very weeping variety which used to be so popular indoors. I like the ones that grow in Hyde Park in Sydney and alos in old street tree avenues. On the web the Ficus Micropcarpa var Hillii is also called a weeping fig but they grow differently and I am certain that the weeping fig is different to the Hills figs that I know because they look different as mature trees. Which is the one that Daley's sells? Is it the non weeping Hills fig?

Thanks

To be sure what you are getting, take some cuttings from your favourite tree and grow them. Some fig cuttings grow happily started off as cuttings in a glass of water.
