Trying to identify which type of olive tree this is. This year lots and lots of black olives. Not sure if I should just cut down or not. We are redoing our back yard and it is in the way.

Picture would help. If it has olives they should be good to pickle. There are easy ways to process them using brine with out cutting them, leaving them in brine for about a year.
