Is Macadamia guros upright or spreading?

    2 responses

I want to grow a macadamia tree that is preferably smooth leaves (guros), fast growing and upright, NOT spreading canopy (because I don't want too much shadow on my garden). I' ve tried to google 'macadamia guros' but not much information found.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

The hybrids can be either ball shaped or straight up (my seedling hybrids are highly variable). tetraphylla grows straight up. Smooth leaves + upright is going to have to be a hybrid.
