James, I think you would be fine but I'm not 100% sure. That might be worth asking the Daley's guys directly.

Sternus, the issai doesn't pollinate anything - it is a female so doesn't produce any pollen.

It is parthenocarpic, meaning that it sets fruit without pollination, but it is't really self fertile in the strict sense.
