Little black beetles

    1 responses

I have an unexpected plague of little black fruit eating beetles, never seen anything like it! They are about 4mm long, fly very well and smash any fully ripe/over ripe fruit (especially if low to ground). It is to the point now that my kids can't hang out in the yard comfortably during the warm times of day, certainly can't eat fruit outside or they get mobbed. Anyone know what these little pests might be and how to deal with them?
