Low chill pears for WA

    1 responses

A couple of years ago I got three varieties of low-chill pears sent to WA. The Fla 57-75 is still alive, but the Flordahome and the Hood (its pollinators) have died. Unfortunately it seems that WA quarantine laws no longer allow these pears to be imported into WA. Can they be bought in WA? Has anyone in Perth established these varieties? maybe I could get cuttings for grafting?
