Mac seedlings - help ID two leaf problems?

Hi all-

I have been growing some Macadamia seedlings (from seed) for about 3 months. Two of them are showing problems with the leaves and I would really appreciate any input on what the problems might be. The first image is showing one with brown edges on some of the older leaves with no problems on the new leaves. The second image shows a plant where all of the leaves are turning brown from the ends which causes the ends of the leaves to break off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A quick search on the net and here's this comprehensive PDF information from DEEDI Qld which might help. Quite an interesting read. There's a few pics there which look similar to your problem. Who would have thought Cicadas could be such a nuisance to maccas! I had no idea.
